We are very lucky to have Sam Thompson come to talk to us about mental health and IBD. This will be an interactive session and should be interesting and informative. This is a subject raised many times at meetings, so it’s great we have an expert to come to us.

How does living with IBD affect your mental health will enable everyone to talk and share their experiences in small groups. The plan is to make the session as interactive as possible and to really facilitate conversation and support

Sam Thomson is the founder of Hexagon Hive and The Wellbeing Hive. Her aim is to empower organisations to create happy resilient, understanding and understood environments which enables individuals and teams to thrive. Hexagon Hive supports a wide range of companies and The Wellbeing Hive works with Schools, Childcare Settings and Parents to support children and their communities.

Prior to this, Sam was the Founder and Joint CEO of a childcare company, providing out of school care in over 17 schools across Brighton and Hove, East and West Sussex with a staff team of 150+, before this Sam was a Primary School Teacher.
