SARAH WALKS FOR CROHN’S and COLITIS

A midwife at Frimley Park Hospital went the extra mile this month when she took part in a marathon trek in aid of charity.

Sarah Marshall, who is a member of the hospital’s Crohn’s and Colitis Patient Group, took part with her husband Dan in the Jurassic Coast Challenge along Dorset’s World Heritage coastline, in an effort to raise money for Crohn’s and Colitis UK ahead of World IBD Day on May 19.

Sarah completed 58km of the course during the weekend of May 14 and 15, while Dan finished the full 100km route starting from Corfe Castle and heading through Swanage, Lulworth Cove and past Durdle Door.

Crohn’s and Colitis UK is an official partner of the challenge but has not yet revealed the total raised from the weekend’s efforts.
